Morris Plansky was a native of Daly City and graduated in 1932 in Liberal Arts. He was a three-sport athlete at the then St. Ignatius College.

Fighting neck- and-neck with them for the backfield positions are Lyn Warford, Rene Barielles, Howard Olson, "Mysterious Moe" Plansky, Mike Hemovich, the Arizona flash; Horgan, Elmer Sadocchi and half a dozen others.

Scoring Ability However, a different story will be told after today's game, at least that's what Coach Zanazzi's charges say, and it is upon the line that this small task will devolve. As a matter of fact, it is upon the scoring ability of such men as Kenney, Hughes, Isola, Schmidt, Plansky, and Tous that lies the difference between the championship and third or fourth place in the Conference. As for the backfield, it has been tried and recognized by the opponents as the best in the circle.

A greater part of the University of San Franeisco baseball team will be composed of football players, for at the time of this writing there are no less than eight pigskin chasers on Coach Valla's squad of horsehide followers. It is evident that the outfield attracts the football men as four of the seven are holding down posts in the outer garden, namely: Moe Plansky, Tiger Gaddy, Lyn Warford and Swede Olsen. Three halfbacks and an end!—they are right at home in the open field as many of their grid opponents will testify. These four men are dominating the outfield situation and so far have been alternating in playing during the practice games. All of them are fast, sure fielders with Gaddy being the best hitter of the lot. Plansky makes an ideal lead-off man because he gives opposing pitchers little space in which to put the ball over (TheFoghorn).
