McEnery had a career high 53 assists and added three aces and four blocks. Lawrence's 18 kills were also a career high. Froloff came through with 18 kills and 20 digs, both career highs. In conference play, Froloff has the second highest dig average (3.29) in the WCC. Thursday also brought the introduction of freshman RitaTongsak to the line-up. Tongsak, who was recently cleared to play by the NCAA, played in all four games on Saturday and contributed two aces and two digs. "It feels good to be a part of the team," Tongsak said. The previous week, the Dons traveled south to the Los Angeles area to face Loyola Marymount and Pepperdine. USF pulled out one game against the league-leading Lions, but fell in three to Pepperdine for the second time this season. Coming up for the Dons is a rematch with Loyola Marymount on Friday, November 4, and their first look at San Diego the next night.

The Dons loss to graduation was minimal in terms of personnel, consisting of only one player: team leader Megan Morse. One of the team's leading hitters and number two digger, Holly Froloff, left USF to be closer to home at San Jose State. However, senior Karla Eriksen has decided not to return to the team after missing most of last season, and a walk-on from last season, Rita Tongsak, has also declined to play next season (TheFoghorn).
