Third Battalion: Cadet Major John A. Zero, Battalion Commander; Cadet 1st Lieutenant Frank W. Mahoney, Battalion Adjutant. The commanders of the various batteries, each of them a Cadet Captain, are as folfbws: Frederick T. Rodack, "A" Battery; James C. O'Loughlin, "B" Battery; James A. Walsh, "C" Battery; Robert J. Smith, "D" Battery; Cadet 1st Lieutenant Mario G. Paolini, "E" Battery; Cadet 1st Lieutenant Donald C. Beechinor, "F" Battery; Cadet 1st Lieutenant John F. Kearney, "G" Battery.

Big Fred Rodack has played more this season at right end than the injured Tex Juen, and will probably get the starting call over his understudy Don Bower of Visalia JC. According to Tassi, the most improved player is Fred Rodack who is sparkling these days during spring practice at end, while the boy with most of the courage is small (for football) Martin Connolly (TheFoghorn).
