1965 USF Soccer Team Dons on Parade would be more correct as the whole University of San Francisco soccer team receives the honors this week. It would be hard to choose a single outstanding performer after the terrific victory over San Jose for the league title. Coach Steve Negoesco's charges blanked the Spartans 1-0 in search for the league title and the right to represent the league in the Regionals. Sharing the honors are: Ric Olivas, Jim Spagnole, Henry Lopez-Contreras, E d u a r d o Rangell, Fred Shamzad, Hernon Mesones, San- dor Hites, Manuel Suffle, Lothor Osiander, Terry MacRenato, Pat Presentin, Jerry Katzef, Luis Sagastume, Al Tsacle, and coaches Negoesco and Vic Saiz. It has been quite a year for the team and it will be a tough challenge when they go to the Regionals and then maybe onto St. Louis and the championship (TheFoghorn).
