Behind the plate, junior Ryan Evangelho and freshman Josh Goldfield have contributed with solid catching to round out the team.

The Dons stormed back in the second game with a 12-8 win in 10 innings after Hurtado hit a game-winning two run double to score for freshmen Jason Howard and Josh Goldfield. Hurtado finished with five hits on the day while driving in three runs. Sophomore outfielder Pat Walsh, a returning starter, went 4 for 5 with four runs and shortstop David Meliah drove in 4 runs on 3 for 6 batting. (The Foghorn).
