Mike Supple started for the Dons, went three innings, and was followed by Paul Bartke, Wayne Richelle, Joe Morello and Mike Urban. None were really effective, and there lies the key to the season. "We will be as good as our pitching. (Supple) gave us three innings instead of six. I know Michael can pitch better than that."
The other two returning pitchers are Larry "Buzz" Dawson, the Dons only four-year player who possesses a dizzying array of pitches, and Wayne Richelle, who anchored the bullpen last year (TheFoghorn).
