USF, with five interceptions and a staunch defensive line, eked out a hard-fought victory against the Cal Aggie JVs. After a scoreless first half, the Dons quickly tallied twice in the opening minutes of the third quarter, and then held on in the final minutes to preserve a 14-10 victory.

Mile Cardoza recovered a fumble in the end-zone to account for the Don's first score, and then, taking advantage of Art Titus' interception, Ed Kuebrich skirted around right end for the final and decisive score. Also helping to lead the helping to lead the Green and Gold to victory was the fine defensive play of tackles Dave Oleriuch and Mike Powell (TheDon).
