Women Golfers Win Tourney

The women's golf team hosted the USF Invitational at the Windsor Country Club earlier this week, and closed their season with a resounding first place win. USF's Malin Nilsson finished in first place with a final score of 161, 17 over par and two ahead of teammate Leslie Buckley, who had a score of 163. Malin said "winning felt good because when I start playing well, I always get really nervous,  because I am scared about messing up a good round. But these two rounds I was able to keep my nerves under control and thus post two good scores" she said. Malin feels that the team members are close to one another and they had a lot of fun, which was important. She said the team has the potential to be "really good." Malin will practice in Sweden this summer (TheFoghorn).
