Kelly Gallagher took great pride in being a 5th generation San Franciscan and loved "the City" where she lived and worked. She was a 1995 graduate of Sacred Heart Cathedral Prep and led the 1995 Volleyball team to the league title as Captain. She was named 1st Team All League. Her passion for the game never waned. Kelly played at SF State and USF where her aggressive and competitive spirit earned her the nickname of "Shotgun". Kelly continued coaching volleyball at Sacred Heart Cathedral from 1999 to 2001. Sacred Heart has established a Kelly Gallagher Memorial award in her honor.Â
