Russ Kynock, Bob Keith and Danny Fisk were singled out by Cowboy Coach Frank Kimbrough as the outstanding linesmen . . . Malley's men of maul, having discovered their scoring possibilities, are entertaining unkindly thoughts for the Loyola Lions and Texas Tech's Red Raiders.

Coach Al Tassi. Keith and Hill "We'll miss our tackles and guards from last year," spoke Coach Tassi, "but Bob Keith and Tank Hill should be able to handle the tackle duties very well." Keith, a rugged player from the watermelon country of Turlock, has played behind Blaz Miatovich for the past two years, which lessened his chances of performing in actual games, but he has the stuff.

My guess is that our two sophomore tackles, Bob Keith and "Tank Hill," will turn out to be as good as any tackles we have had on the Hill since Jim Barber and "Pop" Blewett. Hill, a Poly boy, and Keith, from Turlock, will be needed badly next year, and with a little experience against strong competition should fit in well. (TheFoghorn).
