During USF's last two home matches, Senior Chiara Lawrence ended her career at USF with 1011 career kills, fourth on USF's All-Time list, and with 419 career blocks, a first in Dons' history. The Pepperdine match, the last time to play at home for seniors Lawrence and Stacy Larson, was painfully slow, seeming much longer than the two hours and ten minutes it took. USF lost in four, 13-15, 15-8, 15-10, 15- 7.
This weekend the Dons finish up conference play with their final two home matches. Friday night USF faces #7 Loyola Marymount in a double header with Women's Basketball beginning at 5 p.m.. Lawrence should break another school record against the Lions appearing in more career games than any other player. Saturday Pepperdine appears in Memorial Gym. Pepperdine has lost three of its last four matches. Seniors Lawrence and Stacy Latson will be honored in a pre-game ceremony (TheFoghorn).
