    Men's Soccer (1970)
Tony Suffle played soccer for the Dons at USF in 1970 and transferred to San Jose State University. At 5' 9", 160 lbs., he later played for the Denver Dynamos, San Jose Earthquakes, and the Minnesota Kicks.

Nevertheless, they are going to have a tough night of it in Spartan Stadium tonight,
when the San Jose Spartans will make a last-ditch effort to keep the Dons from sweeping through the 1973 season undefeated. Nor is the State team going to be any easy pushover: the Spartans meet the Dons with a team featuring returning veterans Tony Suffle, Joe Giovacchini, Ken Davis, Tony Rosa, Herb Santana, Brice Soriano, Phil Galioto, Brian Russell, Gary St. Clair, and 1972 Olympic Soccer team member Jim Zylker (TheFoghorn).
