And five stars who will appear in action in this in this afternoon's Poly vs. Lowell championship annual classic, three from Lowell, two from Poly, are named on the all-city selection of the A.A.A. official football program.

The backfield, we believe, is the most well-balanced quartet conceivable, containing Roy Yuretich, Balboa star passing and plunging fullback, at quarter, Vance Peters, best all-round best halfback in the loop, Jerry Dowd, Lowell's triple threat fullback star, and Jean "Batteriong Ram" Lacau, the big Galileo fullback, fullback, at the fullback spot (CIF-SF.org).

From 1936 to 1937, Lacau played full back for the University of Oregon Varsity football team.
