Allen McCutchen was a 6' 4", 200 lbs. basketball player and attended Clovis High School. He joined the Dons in 1960 and was the Most Improved Played in 1961 under Pete Peletta.

Allen McCutchen, more or less an unknown before tonight, scored 11 points and was actually the most instrumental factor in the resounding win by the Dons. McCutchen came off the bench early in the game, an sparked USF with two quick fielders an a free throw. He also grabbed several rebounds, as USF controlled both boards in one of their best efforts of the season (USFFoghorn).
