The top qualifier turned out to be Bob Cerri, now in his second year from Santa Rosa Junior College. Cerri carded a total score of 146 over Lincoln Park Golf Course, site of the qualifying rounds.

USF's golf team ended its 1976 campaign last week with a fifth place finish in the WCAC Championship tournament held here in San Francisco at the Olympic Club. The Dons placed behind Seattle, once again the champ, and three other WCAC schools, despite the fact that USF has no golf scholarships, unlike those that finished ahead of them. Tony Michaelis led the Don attack stroking to a 164 finish with Bob Spering and Bob Cerri close behind at 168 (TheFoghorn).
