Lindsey Beeman was a junior transfer from Xavier University and captained the team her senior year. She graduated in 1999.
The disappointing end to the ladies season did not seem to depress Jamie Johnson, a first year player. "This year's team established USF Women's team as a competitive force in the WCC for many years to come." The Dons hope to come back strong next year, returning all but one player to the team. Lindsey Beeman, the Dons captain and number one player will be the only player, but the player with the most impact, not returning to the Dons roster. "Lindsey was not only the leader of our team, she gave us strength and pushed us when we needed to work harder," said Tweeton. "I will miss her most because she was my doubles partner, and she will no longer be by my side (TheFoghorn)."
