Owen McAlister was a native of Green Valley, CA and attended Justin-Siena High School and Gavilan Junior College. He was 6' 1", 210 lbs., and batted and threw left. HS - 5-2, 3.60 ERA, 89 Inn, 95 K's.

Marshall redeemed himself by closing out a Rolaids-laden ninth. With three runs already in and two men on with only one out, Marshall relieved Owen McAlister and got Jeff Bowne to hit into a game-ending double-play.

Tiger catcher Tye Hanseen and right fielder Shane Rooney each went 3-for-4 with a combined four RBI's and three runs scored. Rooney hit his first home run of the season off Dons pitcher Sean Buller, but it was reliever Owen McAlister (1-1) who sustained the loss (TheFoghorn).
