GENERAL CAPSULE - Should continue to be a physical threat in the midfield with her tenacious play... strong with both feet... has the ability to create scoring opportunities with her explosive speed and steely determination.

2002 SEASON - Played in the first three games of the season, leading the Dons in scoring with two goals and one assist, only to have her season cut short by injury...scored goals in consecutive games versus Sacramento State (9/1) and San Jose State (9/6)...assisted the game tying goal versus UC Santa Barbara...finished with two goals and one assist.

2001 SEASON - Made an immediate impact in only her freshman year as a starter in 19 of 20 appearances for the Dons... scored the first goal in a 2-1 win over Colorado (9/7) in only the second game of her college career... led all freshman and was seventh overall on the team for overall shots taken (17).

PREP CAREER - Played four years of soccer at Lincoln High School in Stockton... named Freshman Scholar Athlete... also competed on the tennis team and was the number-one singles player as a senior... earned CSF honors and was named to the honor roll.

PERSONAL - Ashley Davies... chose USF for the academics, location and the quality of the soccer program... goal for the season is to get playing time... most impressive people she has met are her parents... favorite food is candy... would like to go to the Super Bowl... biggest sports thrill was playing in the regional playoffs... parents are Bruce and Betsy Davies... born October 6, 1982 in Stockton, CA.
