Massive Mike Donohoe, a sure-handed bullish tight end just may join USF's Dave Olerich in the pro ranks; Marty Wagner and Tom Passanisi also gave their all. Ken Pitetti and captain Bob Albertazzi ably anchored both lines and will no doubt be missed next year, as will Fred Schultz, a quietly competent defensive end. Next year—this has a bright omen indeed. Certainly there are many colleges USF's size who would like to have 33 returning vets to build a gridiron representative around.

Although the Pioneers picked up a respectable 146 yards rushing, they were kept in their own territory most of the afternoon. Linemen Jim Leahy, Skip Olsen- Dave Olerich, and Fred Schultz played well, especially if you consider the lack of depth on the team and the almost unbearable heat (TheFoghorn).
