A native of Oakland, Angelo Contier graduated in 1954 in Political Science, after serving as a paratrooper in World War II. He was a member of the Dance Committee, and played Intramural Bowling and Basketball. After graduation, he worked at PMT for 35 years as a Sales Representative. He was a longtime member of the Alpicella Italian Club, Ligouri Club, Sirs and Oakland Traffic Club (EastBayTimes).
