Why Boyd Chose USF: "I chose USF because I wanted a small school where I would be a name and not just a number. I have no regrets about going to the Hilltop for my education."

Favorite USF Memories: “My favorites memories involve my teammates. I played under Jim Brovelli with some of the greatest people that I will always have a life long bond with. We traveled the world. Two of my favorite trips were traveling to Italy for the summer trip, and spending Christmas in Hawaii at the Big Island Classic."

The USF Student-Athlete Experience: “Your team becomes your family. We were dysfunctional at times, but that bond is something you will always have. Some of my teammates and great support staff like equipment manager Bobby Giron are gone, but I am honored to have had the opportunity to be in their presence. I am grateful every day for my USF education.”

Life After USF: Boyd moved to Florida and married in 2000. Boyd spent a large portion of his post college life working for the Department of Defense. He has been fortunate to continue to travel the world.
