The Dons will go with a four man starting rotation at the onset of the season. Heading up the mound corps this year will be seniors Jeff Dietrich. Don Parks and Junior Bob Reed, USF's number one man out of the bullpen last year, as well as Terry McManus. Sophomore Kevin McCarthy, junior Ken Ramos, and freshman Larry Loomis will be called on to handle the bulk of the relief work. All season long the Dons have been plagued with injuries, some serious and some minor. Larry Arrington, the starting catcher, was lost early in the season because of torn ligaments in his leg. Ken Ramos who has perhaps the strongest arm on the team has had troubles all year. (TheFoghorn).
