Peter Warren, Raphael Miranda, Brendon Hennessey, and Jesus Silva have all come to the Hilltop to add depth to the forward soccer line of USF. Hennessey and Miranda both come from Cañada College in Redwood City, a school with a rich soccer tradition, and should provide USF with some experienced punch.
USF Coach Steve Negoesco utilized his entire squad in that contest, changing teams at halftime and treating the fans that assembled to a 7—0 thrashing of the junior college from Redwood City. It was just last season that two of the Dons, forwards Raphael Miranda and Brendon Hennessey, were members of a very talented Cañada team, something that their former teammates remembered to the extent of informing the two of their presence with some "friendly" exchanges.
Nwosu outdid himself in the contest, collecting four goals in the affair. Others scoring included John Anton, Nick Lambridis, Rafael Miranda, Jan Erick Skaug and Brendon Hennessey. Andy Atuegbu and Kjell Tvedt each assisted on one with Gray assisting on two of the scores (TheFoghorn).
