Franki Fitterer

Franki Fitterer has joined the university as the new director of communications and marketing for the Virginia Tech Innovation Campus in Alexandria, VA. Prior to this posting, she led the Department of Public Relations and Marketing for 13 years at American University Law School.

Prior to American University, Fitterer was the Associate Director for Marketing and Communications at California Western School of Law in San Diego. She has a B.A. in Communication (journalism) from the University of San Francisco and a M.A. in Political Science from American University's School of Public Affairs.

Fitterer is a resident of Falls Church City, and is originally from Edgewood, Washington (VTech).
