Barbara Goschke graduated in Nursing in 1980. She played softball, and was a member of Sigma Theta Tau, and Omicron Theta Chi.
Coach Mike Rice's two power hitters, Gloria Smith and Barb Goschke, each scored three runs in the opener with Smith drilling a home run. Shortstop Barb Goschke's hitting has been a big asset for the USF Softball team all year. Across the winning run on four straight walks, Barb Goschke got the honor of scoring the winning run. After her rough start, Liebespeck settled down and shut out the Spartans for the last four innings to receive credit for the win (TheFoghorn).
