Michael Restani was a member of the Chess Club and the Army Rangers. He played football for one season and was on the Dons Swimming team.Â
For those of you who are avid swimming fans, USF does have a swimming team. In fact, last year, a 99 per cent Freshmen team took a victory from the San Francisco Olympic Club. Guy Brown in his second year as coach has high expectations. A bright light on the squad is Dave Freeto, who will swim the Individual Medley Relay. Other prospective standouts include Tim Reid in the backstroke, Greg Mantle in the breast stroke, and Mike Restani in the butterfly. With the loss of Paul Cummings, last year's MVP, and four year letterman Dave Taylor, returnees Steve Maysonave, Fred Charpiot, and Hank Hunter will assume the freestyle responsibilities (TheFoghorn).
