The man on the flying trapeze at the right is Al Leonardo, hard charging Don fullback, who tore through Moraga's line last year for plenty of yardage, hurdling Dan O'Neal, veteran pivot man, while Wild Bill Hinch coyly watches from the background.
The game was a vicious one. Cold weather and savage playing resulted in three varsity injuries. Vic Wilson, regular end, suffered a broken wrist; Dan O'Neal, center, found a broken nose all over his face, and Jim Barber's left paw was lacerated. Kicking and passing were only fair. The varsity especially lacked passing strength (TheFoghorn).
