Because of the number of games played last week, Nettie Morris was forced to pitch for the first time since high school, and hurled three strong innings. Morris also went 3 for 1 in one of the San Diego State games.
"We are going to be much better offensively this season because that is one aspect of the game we have concentrated on the most during the preseason," says Pearsall. "I am counting on good years from Nettie Morris (senior), Holli Brashear (sophomore), Tracy Miller (junior), and Pam Albini (sophomore) (TheFoghorn)."
