Vic Ramus holds a slight experience nod over the three other candidates:Â Charley White, sophmore Crescini, and Keith Bridwell, at the running half, but he will have to hustle all the way to stay there.
TWO BALANCED BACKFIELDS:Â Tassi will bank on his first unit backfield of Vic Ramus and Harry Muns at the halves, Neill Sheridan at quarter and Billy Russo at fullback, but he will be ready to insert his other group when the going gets tough. This latter backfield finds Johnny Cavalero and Charley White handling the halves, Hal Johnston at the key spot and massive Fred Shew in the fullback post. Ramus and Shew will handle the punting end, and Sheridan and Johnston will take care of the passing department (TheFoghorn).
