Cathi Ciardella was a native of Cupertino, CA and attended Monta Vista High School. She played soccer for the Dons and graduated in 1986. 

Out of DeAnza College is Cathi Ciardella. Cathi, like her teammate Nettie, Is a dual player, with the ability to play either left field or short stop. Her versatility will insure the Dons ample coverage of the field, and the flexibility to switch around and try new combinations (USFFoghorn).
