Donna Spragan was a 5' 10" forward from Union City, CA who attended Logan High School.
It is a year of transition in the back-court as well. Two of the leading candidates for a starting spot, senior Alexandra Jurasin (5' 7") and sophomore Donna Spragan (5' 10"), have both spent a significant amount of time as forwards. Juniors Robin Rutledge (5' 4") and Wanda Sequeira (5' 5") should also get a lot of playing time in the back-court with Sequeira attempting to replace Adkins at the point guard spot.
Donna Spragan made the biggest shot of her career, an extended jumper at the top of the key, giving the lead back to the Dons as the two teams battled down the stretch. Dawn Baker scored 15 and Adkins hit for 14 to round out USF's top scorers (TheFoghorn).
