Coach Pearsall will tell you that her main concern in the1985 season will be to keep her girls healthy. You see, Pearsall feels that if the Dons come out ahead on the medical report, they will have a much better chance of coming out on top in the line score. "We have fourteen girls on our roster, and two players that I was counting on for this season are injured already," says the former UOP Assistant Coach. Those two players are freshman Michelle Fernandez, who will miss the beginning of the season with a back injury, and junior pitching ace Melisa Wall, who will probably miss the entire season with a case of severe tendonitis in her shoulder (TheFoghorn).
