2018 (JUNIOR): Appeared and started in two matches … Registered four shot attempts and three on goal against CSUN (Aug. 24)... Was injured for the remaining of the season.

PRIOR to USF AS A SOPHOMORE (2017) - : Made an appearance in seven matches during the season … logged a season-high 46 minutes and three shots in a 5-0 win over Loyola Marymount … finished the year with six shots taken. 

AS A FRESHMAN (2016): Made six appearances for the Gaels as a true freshman … recorded one shot in the season opener and his collegiate debut against Cal … committed one foul during the season.

PRIOR TO SAINT MARY'S: A 2016 graduate of Lick Wilmerding High School … lettered three seasons of varsity soccer before joining the San Jose Earthquakes of the US Soccer Development Academy … also lettered in basketball as a sophomore … scored 22 goals with 11 assists in three seasons of high school soccer … led team to NCS Semifinals twice … All-League honors as a junior … helped lead the Quakes to third place in the 2015 USSDA playoffs … son of Melvin Simmons and Asako Shimazaki … has one sister, Stacy Takahashi.
