The Dons enter the match coming off a loss to UC Davis at the Aggies home courts last Friday, but plan to improve on last year's eighth place finish. "There is a new attitude from the players this year," said Head Coach Scott Howard. "They're coming in with a clean slate." The green and gold are led by seniors Anne Navarro, Rose Titcomb, and Sraddha Basnyat. USF will also be paced by transfer Lindsey Beeman, who played in the number one spot at Xavier University for the past two years. The technical improvement, however, will come from the new work ethic established by coach Howard. "We're practicing more than we used to," said Howard, "and the team is going full time with weights and conditioning.

USF played twice as many matches this season than last season, 28 total including the two matches yet to come. "This has been one of our toughest seasons as far as matches are concerned," Basnyat said. "We've played a lot of tougher teams and it's been good for my game. I think I've improved." "I'm happy with our matches this season," Drocco said. "Conditioning was the key to making it through the extended season. I'm proud of them (TheFoghorn)."
