Paolo Della Bordella played shortstop for the Dons baseball team. He graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor's. He is currently a Sales Manager at Glacier Glove, Reno, Nevada.

The Dons scored seven runs in the third inning highlighted by a Dakin home run and McMillan's three-run-double. Dowd preserved the victory for LaRosa by pitching the last two innings as USF won 9-4. In the second game, light hitting Paulo della Bordella went 4-for-4 and scored three limes as Sambel drove in three runs powering the Dons lo a 13-6 victory.

Perhaps the best recruit was that of shortstop Paolo Della Bordella, a junior transfer. "Paolo gives us a complete infield defensively," says Bowman. Paolo's double play partner is sophomore J.J. Cortes, who will be starting at second base for the second year in a row (TheFoghorn).
