PERSONAL: Molly Kathleen Shanley... hobbies include travel and camping... comes from an athletic family as her dad (Dick), uncle(Jim) and brother (AJ) all played college football... goals for this season are to win the WCC Championship and go to the NCAA Tournament... favorite athlete is Grant Hill... favorite movies are Grease and The Lion King... would be San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown if she could trade places with anyone for a day... the best advice I could give to youngsters is to stay in school and enjoy their childhood... daughter of Dick and Kathleen Shanley... born September 27, 1980 in Santa Clara, CA.

WHY I CHOSE USF: I love the City and everything it has to offer;the sights, shopping and restaurants. Even though USF is in a big city, there is a small community feeling to our campus.

STRAIGHT FROM THE COACHING STAFF: Molly will be able to play more on the perimeter this season. With the return of Carey Sauer and other post players, Molly can use her skills at the small forward spot. She has excellent range and is a solid defender.
