One factor that helped the Dons that night was number 15, Tracy Harrison: "With little playing time under her belt, she played well, better than usual, and that sparked the team." The team consists of (in numerical order) Laura Bertani, Rachel DuLay, Kathy Shindler, Mary Teachenor, Jenni Boron, Mary Feeley, Toni Ray, Kathy Horan. Brenda Vizzard, Lisa Baptista, Captain Kelly Fey, and Tracy Harrison. With Marty Kennedy as coach and Liz Sloan as Assistant coach, this magnificent team is able to work together as a whole. "Marty is a good coach." says Mary Feeley, "She's good for our needs. We're not going to the nationals, and that's it. but we can beat last years record and Marty is the one who will help us do it.
Coach Kennedy had this to say, "At Reno, Robin Edwards' overall play was excellent, and Mary Teachenor took command as court leader." This was evident as Edwards had three solo blocks and four blocking assists alone against UOP, and Teachenor was instrumental in setting balls to allow good USF spikes (TheFoghorn).
