    Baseball (1970-1973)
Nate Bologna was a native of Pittsburg, CA and pitched for the Dons from 1971 to 1972. He was a sportswriter for the Foghorn.

Nate Bologna is the only addition from the frosh team last year. He was a starter on that club and won several games for them, it is not known just where he will be used this year.

Bill Downing provided the heroics by belting a three run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game, the second of the year for Coach Benedetti's squad. Joe Marion also contributed to the winning cause by slamming the Dons' third homer in as many games in the seventh inning. For the third straight game the pitching staff was exceptional, allowing Stanford just one earned run in 9 innings. Bologna and Taboni combined to hurl a five hitter with Taboni picking up the win in relief. John Ramaciotti started for the Dons and was relieved by Nate Bologna in the fifth. Bologna went two innings and got credit for the win (TheFoghorn).
