Coach Ken Bowman commented, "I am very pleased with the offensive output of our team thus far; our run production per game seems sufficient. Our pitching through the first three games was poor, although Duffy had a great outing against SF State. Freshman Ray Lapuz looked good in our loss to State, but overall the pitching has really turned around as of late." This has been evidenced by a substantial reduction in the number of walks given up, which shows the Dons are capable and getting on track (TheFoghorn).
