The Dons just did not have the "horses" to cope with Nevada's sixty man squad. The 'Pack, in the second half, not only outscored the Dons, but they murdered them physically. No less than eight players (DiRicco, Webb, Jim Klaczak, Don Wood, Dick Wood, Mike McGlennon, Steve Haag, and Bud Foster) were taken to the hospital for x-rays after the game. This week Haag, Foster, both Woods, and possibly DiRicco, Klaczak, McGlennon, and Les Mirkovich will be out of action (TheFoghorn).
