Still hoping to shake a prolong slump that has cost them seven defeats in eight starts, the Hilltop diamond squad will travel to Stockton Saturday, where they will meet University of the Pacific in a doubleheader, beginning at 1 p.m. Tomorrow's twin bill will be the first of a pair, the second being both team's season finale. The Tigers have compiled a 9-11 mark on the year, as compared with the Dons 9-10-1. Coach George McGlynn has designated chuckers Frank Burch and Larry Marietti as tomorrow's pitchers.

Senior Larry Marietti, with 16 hits, the second greatest hitter to date tor a Don, completes the list of the most productive USF hitters with a .285 average. Kuhta, Subica, and Reitz have the only Don home runs, while Nick Willard's three triples and Skip Schaeffer's four doubles, lead the Dons in their respective departments (TheFoghorn).
