Stephen Ferreboeuf was born on June 3, 1950 in San Francisco to George and Laurette Ferreboeuf. He was a member of the French community there. Stephen attended Saint Anne's Grammar School, Saint Ignatius High School, the University of San Francisco and New College of California where he received a Master's in Poetics in 1988. He played basketball for the Dons for one season.
Following Burks was Steve Ferreboeuf with 22 points and Pat Loushin with 18. Forward Ron Centerwall was the leading board man with 12. Tonight, the frosh play the SF State junior varsity at 6.
That was the last that anybody heard from USF's yearling squad for the remainder. Leading the scoring for USF was Johnny Burks with 17, followed by Loushin and Ferreboeuf with 11 each. Hancock finished the night with 10 tallies. Loushin led the boardmen with 18, while Burks and Ferreboeuf garnered 12 respectively.
Besides the return of the nine sophomores, Vukicevich will have 6-5 swing man Steve Ferreboeuf back next year. Ferreboeuf, rated by many as the top soph along with Burks, missed the entire season with a knee injury (TheFoghorn).
