Player of the Week JIM REID: DT—6-2—221—SR—Napa. Once again the San Francisco Sporting News salutes two players of the week. Sharing the honor for the Cal State Hayward game are defensive tackle Jim Reid and running back Greg Dawidczik. Both men performed well despite the 48-20 decision against the Dons. Reid, who has been beset with injuries all season, came back from an exceptionally bad game against UC Davis to shine against Hayward. He was in on nine tackles, five of them unassisted. To add to this awesome performance, Reid intercepted a Mike Jacinto pass for a three-yard return (TheFoghorn).
