Marc Daniel Pecha is the president and owner of a Rehabilitation medical practice in San Antonio, Texas, where he specializes in Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He and his wife, Margarita Perez Pecha ’91, have six children and now have their first grandchild. Their oldest son is completing medical school at Baylor University and will train in Ophthalmology. Their second son is also in medical school at Baylor (USFClassNotes).

The other two returning pitchers are Larry "Buzz" Dawson, the Dons only four-year player who possesses a dizzying array of pitches, and Wayne Richelle, who anchored the bullpen last year. Three freshmen join the staff this year, and they will all see considerable action. Derek Dowd, Marc Pecha, and Ted Langowski must all make a quick adjustment to college ball to have any impact, as will Greg Weiser, a talented junior from College of Marin.

The Dons success could hinge on the success of Wieser. Sophomore transfer Ron Ardissone, sophomore Mark Pecha who says "one year of collegiate experience has boosted my confidence," senior Ed Paulus, sophomore Ted Langowski, and freshman Dave Ahern are all possible starters (TheFoghorn).
