William Duplissea was a native of San Carlos and attended Carlmont High School, at 6' 4", 242 lbs., and played offensive tackle. He graduated in History in 1972. He was a Sportswriter for the Foghorn.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK
In looking at the last three games, the San Francisco Sporting News defensive tackle Bill Duplissea is the Player of the Week. Converted from offense to defense in midseason, Duplissea made 11 unassisted and 6 assisted tackles against Humboldt State. Against St. Mary's, he had 7 unassisted and 8 assisted tackles. And in our last game against Sonoma State, he had 6 unassisted and 6 assisted tackles. For this, the coaches named him Hitter of the Week for his highly aggressive play. The coaches also like his mental attitude towards the game.
