Aceret was a right-handed pitcher who made 35 appearances over two seasons as a Don. He started in 28 of his 35 appearances, going 9-13 over his career with a 5.78 ERA. He went 5-5 in his debut on the Hilltop in 1986, throwing five complete games, including one shutout, while also registering a pair of saves. He missed the 1987 season while recovering from an arm injury. He went 4-8 as a senior in 1988 with four complete games and a shutout to his credit, struck out 104 batters over 160
1/3 career innings. He Graduated in Physical Education in 1988.

He was employed as a Sales Representative at Mettler Toledo Industrial in San Leandro, CA.
