"Tom Tronstad stands out especially as an example of generally unnoticed efficiency. Friday night, due to the shortage of players, a great part of the playing burden fell on Tronstad's shoulders not to mention feet, knees, ankles, and head and he handled the entire game with unbelievable effort. Whenever he got hold of the ball, he kept it in control until he could pass it off to one of his teammates. He was somehow always there when he was needed and he did a fantastic job of moving the ball around (Foghorn)." Tronstad earned an NSCAA Honorable Mention in 1976.
Tom Tronstad graduated in 1976 from USF with a Bachelors in Business and works with Exxon Mobil as a Controller. Prior to that he worked in West Africa, Equatorial Guinea, Angola and Chad.
