Kim MacDonnell played guard for the Dons basketball team from 1985 to 1989, and was awarded the Anne Dolan Award for Female Student-Athlete of the Year in 1989.
At guard is junior Kim MacDonnell. MacDonnell can shoot outside or take it to the bucket, either at point or off-guard position. She has uncanny passing ability, and great feel for the court. Her strength and agility make her a strong rebounding guard. MacDonnell shot 43 percent from the field and scored 4 points per game last year while dishing out 52 assists on the season. She is a key player, and most likely will start at guard (TheFoghorn).
