This year's men's cross-country squad was composed of one four-year runner Luis Folan, a speedy golfer Justin Finlay, and three runners in their first years of competition Luis Castillo, Abidine Djimbira, and Zaman Javaheri. Zaman Javaheri, described by the coach as a "dedicated, tough worker," has displayed especially fierce tenacity this year, running with ankle problems competing in the conference championships despite a high fever (TheFoghorn).
