With Al Braga leading the way, the Dons looked very impressive in chalking up their second victory of the current season. Braga played the greatest game of his career, rambling 69Y2 yards (not 70) around end in the second quarter for the initial score, and then scoring the remaining markers in the second half from passes by Bombers Mosconi and Visentin. Nor was Al alone in the backfield starring assignment, as Wair, Visentin, Mosconi, and Fisk sliced through the Texas line for sizable gains. Al Braga's running and kicking was a revelation, and Pete Visentin and ex-Mission High School Rod Wair, two unheralded backs, showed themselves to be worthy replacements of the first string men (TheFoghorn).
